What’s up BITCHES!? Oh, dear. I hope you didn’t just take offense to what seems to be derogatory name calling. You see, around this part of the web, *BITCH* has a positive meaning (Babes In Training, Continual Health).

It connotes a person with a fierce attitude, strong will and determination to get what she wants. These are attributes a gal needs when she makes up her mind to get in shape.

When you’re starting out, going from a couch potato to one fit babe isn’t easy. So you’ll need some grit and a hellacious will to persevere. Getting the physique, stamina and strength most of us want isn’t going to happen for quitters and whiners. So suck it up, put on your best bitch face and bust a sweat.

I’m rooting for you, darlings. Now get up and move your tush!

You can call me Monica “BITCH Fit” Crowe, because not only am I prone to throwing a tantrum when I don’t get my way (kidding :) ), but I also aim to be my best every day. For most of my life I’ve struggled to keep my weight down, and I’ve hovered around five to 10 pounds over my ideal mark. I know that for many of you this may sound like some kind of bitch-fit whining, but my aim is to always feel comfortable in my skin and to look good in my clothes.

I think we all have that sweet spot when it comes to weight where we feel just the right size, regardless of what size it is. Your right size is most likely different from mine, and that’s OK, because we’re all individuals here. That’s the point of BITCH Fitness — reaching and maintaining your personal best.

As a newly minted personal trainer, I’m making it my mission to help women to reach their ideal weight, as defined by them, not social beauty standards — and keep it. I want women to feel empowered, strong, energized and beautiful.

And that’s what this blog and my services are for. If you have any questions or thoughts you’d like to share, e-mail me at monica@bitchfitness.com or leave a comment. I’d love to hear from you.
